- Blockchain fan investment model, where fans are given the ability to purchase “shares” in the project’s potential success, receive percentage of streaming/merchandise revenue, token-gated exclusive content access, etc. This fosters a direct artist-fan economic relationship and deepening of investment in the artist’s music and career journey. Platforms like EVEN.biz, Pateron, Bandcamp, and Grouped, among others are making this model more accessible for artists and their teams enabling them to earn hundreds or thousands from their music release.
- Multi-Dimensional Storytelling Release, where the album serves as a transmedia narrative experience, with each medium bringing a different part of the story to life. This includes short films, music, visual elements, interactive websites, augmented reality, and more to help you tell a more layered story with unique connection points! With budget constraints some of these creative mediums may not be able to be utilized immediately, but it’s great to note what’s available to you as your marketing budget increases.
- Collaborative Community Creation, bringing fan-driven album development to life. Allow your fans to vote on: song selection, album artwork, release dates, music video concepts, merchandise, tour locations, ideas for fan events, etc.
- And our favorite immersive World-Building Release, where you create an entire fictional universe around the album. Create an multidimensional immersive experience for your fans and new audiences through different forms of media including music, visuals, short films, video games, merchandise, physical products, and more.
