- Longer Form content is back?! Hold onto your seats, long form content is here to stay and truly never left. TikTok is now encouraging creators to test and share long form creative and Youtube (landscape) style videos on the platform. Users can share videos up to ten minutes, while TikTok is currently testing videos up to 30 minutes in length in some markets.
- Photography is here to stay. Creators and brands have found success in 2023 with sharing curated Instagram Carousels “photo dumps”; with imagery posts use the captions as valuable space for storytelling, community engagement, and to sprinkle in more SEO. TikTok now gives you the ability to share image posts similar to Instagram, worth testing on both platforms in 2024.
- Test platform features early Platforms reward creators who test, learn, and implement the use of new platform features EARLY. IG Broadcast channels are a great way to cultivate deeper connections with your most active fans/community, Threads is worth testing while the future is still uncertain, and Youtube Shorts is highly underrated as a way to reach new audiences on one of the largest discovery platforms. Part of marketing strategy is to get to know your chosen platforms WELL, including all the latest features.

- Followers –> Community While social growth is great, the real magic happens in the deeper trust and relationships you cultivate with your audience, transforming passive followers to active members of your tribe.
